Abstract

Moodle software is used to create courses and Web sites that are designed for e-learning. It is available for free as open source software. It is a relatively simple system, with small hardware and software requirements. It is suitable for the realization of courses that are conducted entirely online, or those who are used as a supplement to traditional learning. Considering the importance of today's e-learning, we considered it of interest to analyze the software package Moodle. For this reason, this paper analyzes the main advantages and disadvantages of e-learning as the core elements of the course. Special emphasis is given to the analysis of Moodle, its customers and to its previous application in our country.
