VALORIZATION TOURIST POTENTIALS IN LUKOVSKA BANJA AS THE BASIS FOR THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Lukovska spa is a new spa village, a healing centre, a climatic health resort and tourist center at the south-east foot of Kopaonik. It is famous for the greatest number of mineral springs and immense quantity of hot mineral waters. It holds significant natural and anthropogenic turistic values which are not sufficiently used and which provide a firm base for the development of numerous forms of tourism. In the last few years it is becoming more and more popular and there is a need to attract a large number of tourists alongside with foreign local tourist and also to complete the existing offer with various contents.
