ACTION RESEARCH METHOD

Abstract

The roots of action research methods are somewhat questionable, but can be found already in the work of Kurt Lewin in the late forties of last century. The idea that led to the development of this method is an attempt to study problem situations in their environment. Another key idea behind the action research of Kurt Lewin's position that one can understand the internal structure of the sociological system only through the attempt to change it.
