Abstract

Authors analize the customs union in the paper, which represents the necessary condition in the creation of a common market and the elimination of all customs between the member countries and the introduction of a common customs tariff for the third countries. A different customs status of third countries is the basic difference between the customs union and the zone of free market. Therefore, the internal market is defined (Mastriht, 1992) as a field without internal borders, where the mobility of free goods, legal entities, services and capital is ensured. The establishement of a unique market lies in the creation of necessary conditions for the formation of an economic and monetary union as a central point for European economic integrations.
