Abstract

The introduction and application of modern information technology leads to significant changes in the banking business. With a larger number of transactions, the use of traditional methods of transaction processing can not provide satisfactory results. Therefore, applying automation of transactions. The aim is to achieve competitiveness. Particular attention in this paper is devoted to fundamental changes in information technology and modern trends in the banking business, also gives a review of electronic banking in Serbia. Finally the conclusion will be summarized results of this strategic concept for the development of modern banking technology and information infrastructure.
